Coyolxauhqui Rainbow Coalition
Matriarchal, Decolonial Leadership
Coyolxauhqui Rainbow Coalition is:
A leadership cohort advancing decolonial, matriarchal and peace-centered values. Participants use cultural reclamation, somatic awareness, extra sensorial intelligence and principles of Eco-social acupuncture to address real world challenges.
Participants learn to addresses structural roots of challenges and create long-term, meaningful change.
For the first time ever ….
Xi’im Ek Balam is offering a class in our process of Eco-Social Acupuncture to advance martiarchal and decolonial leadership throughout the globe.
This cohort is part think-tank, part coalition, and part sangha.
Participants will not just dream new worlds but they will learn and apply ancestral and somatic based wisdoms to real-world every-day concerns (including program management, interpersonal conflicts, managing personal energy, addressing community injustices, budgeting resources from a values based perspective and unlocking full creative potential).
If you are:
tired of going in circles
have tried capacity building and felt somewhat disconnected from the values framework of the instructors
already doing the work but want to unlock that last 10% of your power potential
feel major changes are afoot and you think you and your community are not prepared for the structural and systemic transformations that are forthcoming
…..then this community is for you.

A Word From Our Founding Director and Lead Teacher:
A few years ago, I was deep in research and writing.
I was living in Mérida, working on a book, leading a NGO, and studying ancestral systems of knowledge—while also navigating uncertainty in my own life. Funding and contacts disappeared. Plans shifted. The structures I thought would hold me didn’t. And the people I thought could guide me shared visions I didn’t completely align with.
During that time, I began to notice something clearly:
Even with knowledge, mentorship and good intention—patterns were still repeating and I could not find the answers I wanted.
What I realized was this:
Most of us are taught to understand patterns intellectually. Very few of us are taught how to work with them at the level where they are formed. And very few mentors, coaches and planners address systems-level cultural and consciousness strategy.
That realization changed the direction of my work.
I began to integrate:
ancestral timekeeping systems (Maya and Anahuac) and daily rituals informed by my collaboration with the Kichwa people (Ecuadorian Amazon)
somatic practices grounded in the body
relational frameworks that include ecology, lineage, and lived systems
gifts from meditation, dreams and imaginative practices that created clarity and meaning for my life in practical and surprising ways
Not as theory—but as practice.
This program comes directly from that process and features some of the teachers who have taught me these important techniques.
The Invitation:
-
We will work with indigenous teachings from Abya Yala (Maiza or the Americas) to understand. the principles of woman and queer-centered, earth-based leadership. The course material centers indigenous teachings on culture keeping, conflict resolution, coalition building and sustainability.
The pedagogy itself is somatic (body based) and highlights the power of creativity and the imagination in world building. We will integrate mindful practices to help participants access their power in times of deep challenge.
Some sessions will include guest lectures and activities from matriarchal and indigenous visionaries.
A central part of the program is building community. Participants will become a resource for one another in this journey of research and discovery.
-

The story of Coyolxauhqui (from Anahuac/ Aztec/ Mexica tradition) connects the spirit of a dismembered woman to the energy of the moon. Popular retelling of her story says that she represents the masculine defeat of the feminine.
in this coalition we collaborate with the energy of Coyolxauhqui, each participant as a part of her sacred body. Together we become whole and work to discover what centering matriarchal leadership and decolonial wisdom means in practice.
Cultures that are ecopsychologically underdeveloped tend towards male dominance through aggression, force and violence. Many people see the limitations of this leadership style and crave new models but feel they lack understanding and inspiration of how to bring these dreams into action. We will provide simple and practical tools to address the most common challenges of bringing visionary dreams to the professional world.
This program is a think tank to support participants in incubating their own somatic, authentic, and earth-centered leadership style. Our program also pays homage the The Rainbow Coalition (started by the Black Panthers to unite people across cultures to heal and transform systemic injustice).

Leadership from the Moon.
A new time calls for new/ old types of leadership: The Coyolxauhqui Coalition is a think tank for the future of economics, community development and urban planning.
Participants are creative visionaries ahead of their time. You may be a business owner, community organizer, venture capitalist, elected official, social service provider, leader in education, regenerative farmer, environmental lawyer or someone who is passionate about shaping better the future for the next 7 generations.
You are excited about your field but you are finding that common solutions are producing common results. You are ready to dream big, go wild, and tap into the extra dimensional wisdom of the ancestors to get some real, meaningful answers.
You crave a community of collaborators who can see the exciting future that you know is possible. You want a community of people who think more broadly than those in your field, who are guided by values, dreams and visions.
You are ready to stop working in the minutia and start collaborating with the cosmos.
Xi’im Ek Balam is founded upon matriarchal and decolonial principles. Our clients and students live all over the world (The United States, Mexico, Europe) and have ancestral links to cultures with deep wisdom in earth based practices (from throughout Africa, Maiza, Asia and Europe). Previous clients, collaborators and students worked at Google, Open AI, major universities and local governments.
We have found that visionaries need more structured support in bringing their spiritual medicine and magic into the workplace. Old forms of leadership are cracking and we need to strengthen the rigor and beauty with which we cultivate the new world. Join us in learning how to harmonize with the needs and leadership of this beautiful universe.
